Edsskolan is a F-3 school with approximately 200 students located in central Östhammar. We are now looking for a person interested in teaching wood and metal crafts. We offer you the opportunity for continuous professional development and networking, with a focus on development and close collaboration with other educators and student health.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to teaching, as a teacher with us, you will plan and develop the activities together with your colleagues. You will be responsible for planning lessons to both challenge and support each student to create good conditions for their future challenges and opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying should be a certified teacher with qualifications in crafts or have a pedagogical background and a strong interest in teaching the subject. Additionally, you need to have good IT skills, where experience with Unikum and Teams is particularly meritorious. Previous experience as a teacher is also an advantage.

In addition, there are some abilities that are important when working with us. Collaborating with colleagues to create the best possible conditions for our students is one such ability. Building safe and trusting relationships is another - it is an asset for you in relation to your students as well as in relation to colleagues and guardians. A positive attitude and strong commitment also help to inspire and show students (and us colleagues) possibilities and solutions.
